How to prepare for IGNOU Term-End Examination<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After releasing the final datasheet, you have to start studying for the term-end examination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Download the soft copy of the study material. Do not wait for the hard copy that sends by IGNOU.<\/li>
  2. Contact study center for contact class. If they did not schedule the class request for the class.<\/li>
  3. Remember no shortcut for passing the exam- if you have language and little knowledge in the subject, you can pass the exam, but to secure a good mark you have to work hard more time.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Here we try to explain important steps you must undertake to prepare for IGNOU Tetm-End Examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1: Understand the outline of the course. It helps you to understand the entire course, what are the major topics, and how topics are connected to each other. It also helps you understand the difficulty level of the course and whether you need to spend more time or not<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Identify important topics: In a unit, there will be 2 or 3 important topics. Apart from the important topics, there will be additional information like background information. Usually, questions may not ask from the background information. So identify major topics and topics which give you background information. One more thing that you have to remember is that when you learn a topic understand the meaning of the topic with examples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3: Once you cover a unit, refer to the previous question papers and identify the previously asked questions from the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 4: Refer to the questions that have been given in the section (check your progress) in each unit. In the case of some courses, questions are directly asked from the ‘Check your Progress’ section. For example BSOC 131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 5: Refer to at least four previous question papers: It gives you the confidence to prepare for Term-End Examination. Usually, in the IGNOU question paper, there will be a number of options. For example, Write any four out of eight, and write any two out of four. Therefore, if you are not comfortable with any units you can leave a few of them. Apart from this previous question paper also helps us to identify important topics and blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
